If it killing someone makes you a "bad person" then you're among good company. As I said before, I will do anything to ensure the freedom of people from their oppressors.
Ahhh, well—maybe if there was someone like you 1700 years ago, it would have been different. But there wasn't and quite frankly, humans like you are rarer than some of those gemstones you're obsessed with. Most humans let their morals fall by the wayside for one reason or another.
That's part of what makes them fun too.
[ if it sounds contrary it is, but that's how he himself is. ]
[ sabo very well knows that it's nothing given how ish has been acting thus far. (unless..?) if he has stuck his heels into the ground then there's only so much that he can do about that. ]
I still haven't heard what makes you be an evil or a bad person. Surely there must have been more that you've done than kill people.
[ and trap people in a seemingly endless death loop. ]
Okaaaay, let's see... if murder isn't bad then I guess manipulation doesn't count either? How about plotted the downfall of the Royal family and the eradication of a noble line? I guess familicide doesn't count here in this instance.
But you know, murder is usually considered a cardinal sin across all religions.
I don't approve of murder, however I accept that there comes a time where killing is necessary. So, I don't see much of a difference between the two of us if that's what we're working with.
[ should he really be proud of this? who's to say but you can't have a successful revolution without killing people or doing everything that ish has said here. ]
Obviously, I'm not a witch, but I'm a noble—former noble—that has made it their life mission to take down the ruling nobility and knowingly turn my world's situation on its head all for the sake of freeing people from oppression.
[ legitimately, since while this isn't the first time ish has encountered this view of the world, it is the first time it's been compared to how he operates. ]
Well I'll certainly never argue for the lives of nobility no matter how long I live. The nobles we know likely have different goals, but in the all worlds I've seen, they're always looking out for themselves at the expense of literally everyone and everything else.
[ not that ish is asking for any further explanation or clarification on why sabo hates and wants to end all nobles, sabo will still provide the following... you know, just to see how awful nobles can be across worlds. ]
Unfortunately, I'll confirm to your assumption and say that the nobles in my world are only looking after themselves above all others. Of the number of horrible things that they do, one of the ones that I cannot forgive is how they will kill others, even fellow nobles who just happen to be "lower" than them, for the fun of it.
[ ...more importantly, i guess: ]
I don't feel anything for killing people who are more like monsters in human skin.
[ but somehow that feels like an insult to monsters? who knows. it's complicated. ]
Of course they are. [ he almost sighs, but he's grinning too. ]
Not that I care about stealing, but that's why I picked a place like this too. They really have more estates than they can deal with it and if they miss it? Oh well!
[ okay, maybe this is wrong but sabo starts laughing when ish confesses to stealing a whole ass castle for this. ]
You know, I didn't want to say this, but it kind of reminds me of place where I born.
[ not a "home". it was never "home" for him; it was his cage where he was forced to live someone's else and would have died in one had he not decided to risk it all. ]
So, I'm certain that they wouldn't have missed it. If they do get mad then it would just be a matter of pride.
