Don't underestimate me. I can tell if someone gets up when we fell asleep beside each other. ( Getting up for water? Not so when you're in bed with a clingy dragon. ) And isn't it more appealing to do things with someone else than to do it alone? At the very least, now you can say you're just doing it for me.
